At a glance

The Mega Crab is a huge mechanical base invented by Dr. T. In each edition you face it level after level: the difficulty keeps rising and the damage dealt to buildings is kept from one attack to the next.

How it works

Launch an attack: you start with 3 (8 at most) and it costs no gold.
Destroy as many buildings as you can: damage stays from one attack to the next, even after a defeat.
Destroy the Main Reactor to move on to the next level.
Get an attack back by clearing a level, or after waiting 2 h 30.
Repeat: the difficulty increases with every level, with no limit.

Rewards

The usual resources for each level cleared
Diamonds and crystal powder
Amounts that rise sharply with the level
Depending on the edition: stage bonuses, an extra gunboat ability and engravings (details on each edition's page)

Tips

Keep as many attacks in reserve as possible before starting a session.
Advance in steps: every attack can push the destruction further.
Bring troops able to withstand freezing and mines.
Take out first whatever attracts or boosts the enemy, such as the Dr. T decoy or the speed serum.
